We offer free 15-minute online video consultations for people and parents worried about scoliosis. You and your child can speak directly with an experienced orthotist, with no obligation to proceed with treatment.
During your video call, you can:
If needed, we can also arrange a face-to-face assessment at one of our clinics.
Please note that patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for all appointments, including video appointments.
If your child has recently been diagnosed, or you’re worried about possible signs, we can talk through next steps and what information is helpful to bring from your GP or specialist.
Scoliosis can progress quickly, especially during growth spurts between ages 10 and 15. Because schools no longer screen for scoliosis, parents play a vital role in spotting it early.
Early identification can help you access the right clinical pathway. Where bracing is appropriate, orthotic management may help reduce the risk of progression during growth for some patients.
This information is for general education. Please note that a video consultation does not replace a full clinical examination or medical diagnosis. We do not diagnose scoliosis or provide radiology diagnostic imaging report. If you suspect scoliosis, consult your GP or orthopaedic specialist for formal medical diagnosis.
