LOC Salford is reopening late 2021

John Turner heads up our Greater Manchester clinic, currently operating from The Good Health Centre, Bolton. John has over 25 years of orthotic practise treating a broad range of adult and paediatric conditions. He has particularly specialised knowledge and experience in working with children with cerebral palsy. He is also a placement trainer for students of Prosthetics and Orthotics at Salford University. John is a member of BAPO and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Apart from orthotic treatments for lower limb conditions, LOC’s clinic provides treatment for positional plagiocephaly, pectus carinatum and pectus excavatum and scoliosis.

FAQ:

Clothing worn is dependent on which clinic you are attending. You will be sent a letter detailing what clothing to wear along with all other details prior to any appointment at the clinic.

Due to COVID-19, we have had to temporarily close the Salford clinic and are operating out of another clinic in Bolton.

LOC’s clinic is based in the University of Salford’s Podiatry Department and provides treatments for orthotics, scoliosis, pectus deformities, positional plagiocephaly and club foot.

It is also the base for LOC’s northern OSKAR clinic which is run by Sam Walmsley, clinical director of LOC, in conjunction with Elaine Owen MBE MSc SRP MCSP.
