Jack Choong qualified from the University of Strathclyde in 2015 with an honours degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He has held senior roles at University College London Hospitals, including the Specialist Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Centre, and at Great Ormond Street Hospital, managing complex spinal, neurological and musculoskeletal presentations.
Now a Senior Orthotist at The London Orthotic Consultancy, Jack specialises in paediatric lower limb biomechanics and complex gait disorders. His clinical approach integrates advanced materials, carbon fibre systems and digital workflows, underpinned by precision gait analysis developed through mentorship with Elaine Owen. He focuses on translating detailed biomechanical assessment into meaningful functional improvements for children and families.
Jack has presented at national and international conferences including British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists, British Scoliosis Society, Global Spine Congress and SpineWeek. He is part of the clinical leadership introducing Agilik within his service, contributing to structured assessment and patient selection pathways.
