Manchester OSKAR clinic
LOC’s OSKAR Clinic is based in the University of Salford’s Gait Laboratory. It is run by Sam Walmsley, clinical director of LOC, in conjunction with Elaine Owen MBE MSc SRP MCSP.
OSKAR stands for the Optimal Segmental Kinematic Approach to Rehabilitation and is an orthotic method of treating children with lower limb neuromuscular conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Stroke and Post Polio Syndrome (PPS).
In addition to assessments for the OSKAR clinic, Sam Walmsley will also be seeing Pectus and Club Foot patients.
The Manchester clinic is held on the last Monday of every month. Appointments can be made by phoning 020 8974 9989.

Free Parking – As you will be attending a clinic, you will be exempt from any parking charges.However, in order to be exempt, as soon as you have parked please visit the Podiatry department and provide your car registration details to the staff on reception. Failure to do this may result in a parking fine.
