Manchester Orthotic and Plagiocephaly Treatment Clinic

LOC’s clinic is based in the University of Salford’s Podiatry Department and provides treatments for Scoliosis, Pectus Excavatum and Carinatum, Positional Plagiocephaly and Club Foot.

It is also the base for LOC’s northern OSKAR clinic which is run by Sam Walmsley, clinical director of LOC, in conjunction with Elaine Owen MBE MSc SRP MCSP.

OSKAR stands for the Optimal Segmental Kinematic Alignment approach to Rehabilitation and is an orthotic method of treating children with lower limb neuromuscular conditions including Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida.

Clinic Facilities

Free Parking – As you will be attending a clinic, you will be exempt from any parking charges.However, in order to be exempt, as soon as you have parked please visit the Podiatry department and provide your car registration details to the staff on reception. Failure to do this may result in a parking fine.
