07 February 2020

The London Orthotic Consultancy is increasing the range of treatments available at its Manchester clinic

From February, LOC’s Manchester clinic, which is based in the Podiatry and Orthotic Department of the University of Salford will be treating patients with Plagiocephaly/Flat head syndrome and Scoliosis in addition to its existing treatments for Pectus deformities and Club Foot.

The OSKAR Clinic (Optimal Segmental Kinematic Alignment approach to Rehabilitation), which is run in conjunction with Elaine Owen MBE MSc SRP MCSP and utilises the University’s Podiatry department’s Gait Laboratory, will also be run more frequently.

John Turner has joined LOC and will head up the expanded clinic. John has over 25 years of orthotic practise treating a broad range of adult and paediatric conditions. He has particularly specialised knowledge and experience in working with children with cerebral palsy. He is also a placement trainer for students of Prosthetics and Orthotics at the University. John is a member of BAPO and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
