Cost & Funding Assistance
The total cost for the LOCband treatment is: £1950.00.
We are able to offer 2 types of payment options:
1: Pay the full amount of £1950.00 at the time of the first scan and your decision to proceed with the fitting of a LOCband. Once the initial payment has been made there are no further charges or any hidden costs for the duration of your baby's treatment.
2: Pay by instalments, this allows the cost of treatment to be spread over 4 payments.
We have arranged this No Interest method of payment to assist parents by allowing the cost of the LOCband to be spread over a period of time.
The full cost of £1950.00 includes:
- All of your baby's required appointments from start to end of treatment, no matter how many are required
- The LOCband
- Appropriate cleaning fluid for the LOCband
- All correspondence/reports to your GP/Paediatrician to inform them of your baby's progress
- Full telephone support.
- Extra reviews at short notice.
Funding Assistance:
If parents have difficulties with the funding of treatment, Headstart4babies a UK based charity (registered number 1112256) may be able offer parents financial assistance.
Headstart4babies is run by Philip Saich and Karen Laker, whose baby Ben was successfully treated with the use of a Cranial Orthosis (Helmet) for severe plagiocephaly in 2004/2005.
They offer families on low incomes help with funding to allow them to proceed with treatment. Along with the trustees of the charity they are also able to assist families in fundraising activities, to benefit both the charity and to fund treatment for their own baby.
