February 2011:
LOC has extended the service it provides at the prestigious 152 Harley Street Clinic with the opening of a full Orthotic Service every Wednesday. The new orthotic clinic will be staffed by Chris Drake, Senior Orthotic consultant at LOC. The new clinic opened in February and runs from 9:00-5:00.
Chris qualified as an orthotist in 1983. After originally working in the private sector he took up the post of Principal Orthotist at Queen Mary’s Hospital, London where he worked for over 14 years developing the orthotic department. He has extensive experience in all aspects of orthotics, is a fully trained Orthotic Expert Witness.

Due to demand LOC extends its Plagiocephaly service at 152 Harley Street and now runs its assessment clinics on Tuesday (9:00-5:00) & Thursday (9:00-5:00). The Tuesday clinic is run by Catherine Williams and the Thursday Clinic is run by Saeed Hamid.
Catherine Williams
Catherine qualified from Sheffield Hallum University, as a physiotherapist in 1995. She is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists. She has completed extensive training in the USA in the Orthotic management of Plagiocephaly. She has extensive experience in the treatment of infants with Plagiocephaly and its commonly associated conditions.

Saeed Hamid
Saeed qualified as an Orthotist in 1990. He was Senior Orthotist at Queen Mary's Hospital, London where he was involved in all aspects of Orthotic Management of adults and children. He has undergone extensive training in the orthotic treatment of Plagiocephaly using cranial remoulding orthoses.

October 2010:
LOC has opened a new Plagiocpehaly Clinic in Harley Street, to better serve clients who live in central or north London or who are travelling into London’s mainline stations. LOC’s Central London Plagiocephaly Clinic is located at 152 Harley Street. This newly refurbished building is positioned at the Regent’s Park end of the street, which is internationally renowned for accommodating some of the UK’s most prestigious private clinics and consultants.

May 2010:
A new clinic has been opened in Cardiff to better serve clients who live in Wales. LOC’s Plagiocephaly Clinic is based at Hospital Innovations in St Mellons, north east of Cardiff.

The London Orthotic Consultancy's Bristol Plagiocpeahly Clinic starts to take appointments for new clients seeking treatment for Plagiocpehaly (Flathead Syndrome) using the LOCband
ALL babies that have completed the LOCband treatment have achieved measurable improvements to their head shape regardless of their age or severity of Plagiocephaly.

We are proud to announce that we are shortly to open a new Plagiocephaly Treatment clinic in Ross-on-Wye.
LOC's Plagiocpehaly clinic in Ross-on-Wye is staffed by Rachel Whitmore, Dip OPTEC. It is based in the Clinic of Osteopathy and Complementary Medicine which was established in 1983 by Nicholas Handoll, D.O., M.S.C.C. Cranial Osteopath.

LOC has now expanded and strengthened its clinical team with the employment of a new orthotist.
Rachel Whitmore
Rachel qualified as an Orthotist in 1989. She has vast experience in all types of orthotic management and has worked both in the private sector and the NHS which gives her a well balanced approach to her work and a full understanding of her client's needs. Prior to being appointed to run LOC's Plagiocephaly clinic in Ross-on-Wye, Rachel has worked in the field of Orthotic management of Positional Plagiocephaly, Brachycephaly and Dolichocephaly for over 3 years.
