Diers Spinal Scanner

The Diers Formetric 11 Plus scanner is the world leader in optical 3D measurement systems for the back and spine. LOC is the only UK clinic to have one.

The scanner provides a fast, contact less and radiation-free measurement of the back surface and spine.

The scan itself takes a few seconds to take and the information provides detailed measurements of spinal posture. The Diers spinal scanner is the only available method to obtain these kind of measurements.

It is used in our clinic to diagnose postural problems and analyse the effectiveness of treatment. It gives repeatable objective measurements of any treatment.

It is also used to define and measure clinical conditions such as Scoliosis, or Kyphosis with a very high degree of accuracy, and this same technology is an integral part of LOC’s Vabene Therapy providing an evaluation of the effect of the Neuromuscular Proprioceptive Insoles on the client’s posture.
