Parotec Plantar Pressure Measurement System
The Parotec system allows in-shoe dynamic pressure readings to be taken before and after any Orthotic treatment. It is unique in this field as it gives actual objective data in Newtons per centimetre squared (Ncm2). Other forms of measurements use force plates on the ground which the client walks over. Apart from its high degree of clinical accuracy Parotec also allows the orthotist to study walking and running in normal circumstances over long distances.
This enables LOC to check the effectiveness of treatment and monitor progress over time.
